I had the pleasure of speaking today to a wonderful group at the Kenilworth Library. I am looking forward to returning in August to talk on my new book, Kissing the Black Dog at another of the community groups.

I was sorry to see the bakery was still closed but was glad to hear it will reopen shortly with the original owners returning. Can someone let us know when?

Admin reply: Joe tells us they will be open this coming Saturday (6th June).

Seqwater has now started work on stabilizing the river at the Kenilworth River Reserve (19 May). The southern part of this park is fenced off but access to the northern part and to the Mary River itself remains. Care will be needed in exercising dogs etc.
