We kayak on the Mary River and are interested in the SEQWATER project and how it might affect access. Is there any detailed information online somewhere?

Admin reply: There are details on our CIVIC page. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

We visited after the recent rain and really enjoyed spending a few hours in town, sampling some cheese and then walking down by the river.

Ant McKenna has given us some good news – "The Environmental Art Award, sponsored by Living Smart, will choose artworks from within each of the various award exhibitions leading up to the Environmental exhibition in November 2015 to be included in an environmentally themed exhibition. One of these artworks will be chosen to receive a $10,000 acquisitive prize".

This means entries to our Kenilworth Trophy Art Competition, with an environmental reference, are eligible for this prize and we can list the $10,000 prize on our entry form and on advertising for the Competition.

We are invited to the Sunshine Coast Art Prize Launch at Caloundra Regional Gallery, 11.30am on Sunday 29th March. Arts Council Committee members and other worthies are invited. Please let me know if you can come.
